Here's an update on what's going on lately:

•I e-mailed a subscriber questionnaire to each of you back in December. It's a way to catch up on your ballet interests, what topics are most vital to you, and (grrrr) I'm even asking your age. Of course, you only answer if you want to, but the information will help me to gear newsletter content to the ages and interests of the members we have. Quite a few e-mails bounced back to me with out-of-date addresses. So, if you haven't heard from me lately, please e-mail me so I can reach you in the future (unless, of course, you don't want me to reach you!).

•To those of you who answered our e-mail questionnaire, thanks! It's great to know more about you and your interests, and I will be incorporating as many of the suggestions as I can!

•Thanks to all who took advantage of our December 25%-off sale for subscribers only. Hope you are all enjoying your new Blue Diamond goodies. I'm planning to make the sale an annual event -- I only wish I could afford to send you all gifts rather than just offer discounts. Maybe next year!

•Here's what was in Volume 2, No. 3 (which went out in December). The pull-out page gave the first batch of inner thigh exercises to access greater turnout. Plus physical therapy toys like Resist-a-Bands, rubber tubing and Sisel balls: exercises using these tools, and how they can help your ballet technique and increase your ability. URL for the new Blue Diamond subscribers-only webpage that indexes all the topics we've covered since Volume 1, No. 1, so you can easily find what you're looking for in your back issues. If you haven't received this issue yet, please let me know.

•To those of you looking at our latest issue (Vol. 2, No. 3) and wondering where to get the exercise resistance bands that are used in some of the exercises, they're now for sale at our online store. But, remember, don't feel that you have to invest in Resist-a-Bands (though I have to say that you won't find a better price than we have at the store). I always try to give a few different alternatives to accomplish the same exercise. The bands are just a very convenient and effective aid.

•If your subscription has expired and you still haven't renewed, there's still time to receive the latest issue without missing a thing. I'm offering a $10 discount on the cost of a year's subscription, so if you decide to renew (within the U.S.) it's $30 (rather than $40), and if you're elsewhere in the world, resubscribe for $40 (rather than the full price of $50). To reup, go to our new store

•Please do write in with your story ideas, questions, and suggestions.

And that's all for now. Happy new year, and as always, love, peace, and dance! From moi, Rosetta
